Receiving Gempita Support In Bandung, Prabowo: Handling Mothers Moves Me

BANDUNG - Vice Presidential Candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto, received support from the Indonesian Love Indonesia Association Muslim Movement (Gempita) at the Sudirman Grab Ballroom building, Bandung, West Java.

Prabowo attended the Gempita national declaration accompanied by the Chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan Roeslani, and Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Muhamad Iriawan (Iwan Bule). Prabowo was welcomed by the General Chairperson of Gempita Lamlam Pahala and thousands of people who attended.

Prabowo expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary response from the residents of Bandung. Especially for the mothers who have high hopes for the pair number 2, Prabowo-Gibran.

"I thank you for the honor given to me being invited and greeted with great fanfare," Prabowo said in his remarks, Wednesday, December 27.

"The hardest thing was holding my mother, if I was given a hand, my hand was pulled, but this is something that touched me," he continued.

The Minister of Defense said that the hopes of Gempita's mothers and extended family would be a spirit for him and Gibran won the 2024 presidential election. Prabowo promised not to disappoint the trust.

"You can put big hopes on my shoulders, this is something that is an encouragement for me. Hope means trust, trust should not be disappointed," said Prabowo.

Hearing this, the mothers and the Gempita masses cheered.

"Long live Prabowo. Prabowo I'm with you," shouted the mothers who were greeted with applause.

Prabowo once again expressed his gratitude for the support given to him and Prabowo. According to him, it is the right thing to choose candidate pair number 2.

"Today's declaration shows that the Gempita extended family, especially the next generation of the younger generation, has clear political insights, understands, understands the state of the nation and state, understands history, understands that the Indonesian people must make the right decisions, the right decisions, and thank you for deciding to choose Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming," he concluded.
