JAKARTA The South Jakarta Journalists Working Group (Pokja) successfully held a badminton tournament titledASional Fun Badminton 2023. This tournament was held for four days on 15-16 and December 20 and 23, 2023 at the Badminton Hall of the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"We held this tournament as a gathering event as well as to make us journalists more active in exercising," said Head of the South Jakarta Journalists' Working Group, Helmi Sajangbati, Sunday, December 24.

Helmi hopes that thetai Fun Badminton will become a pilot project as well as a portfolio for the South Jakarta Journalists' Working Group to be able to create a tournament on a larger scale in the future.

"Hopefully in the following years we can hold a bigger tournament, more participants. Maybe we can combine e-Sports and conventional sports," he said.

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi also appreciated the 2023 170th Fun Badminton tournament.

"Using existing facilities in the form of badminton sports venues from the Resort Police. Always maintain physical fitness in the midst of daily activities, take time to exercise," said Ade.

"Through this badminton sport, we hope that it can be maintained more carefully and synergize members with journalists," added the Police Chief.
