Director And Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Agriculture Silenced After Being Examined By The KPK Council Regarding The Firli Bahuri Ethics Case

JAKARTA - Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono have undergone an examination of alleged violations of Firli Bahuri's code of ethics. Both were examined by the KPK Council at the ACLC KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 21, in its capacity as a witness. Hatta and Kasdi were observed leaving the ACLC KPK building at 15:00 WIB and immediately checking into the KPK detention car without giving any information to the media crew regarding the examination material. Hatta and Kasdi are part of 13 witnesses examined by the KPK Council regarding alleged violations of the code of ethics committed by the inactive KPK chairman Firli Bahuri. The examination of witnesses to reveal more allegations of ethical violations Firli Bahuri starting from a meeting with former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, was dishonest in filling out the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) and renting a house in the elite Kertanegara street area Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The KPK has named Hatta, former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono as suspects in the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The three of them are suspected of violating Article 12 letters e and 12B of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code.
