KALTIM - At least two sub-districts were removed from the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim). Both sub-districts of Samboja and West Samboja were removed because they entered the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).
"Given that these two sub-districts are included in the IKN area, both of them have been issued in the Regional Spatial Planning Draft (RTRW) of Kutai Kartanegara Regency," said Expert Staff of the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara for Government and People's Welfare (Kesra) Didi Ramyadi in Tenggarong, Thursday.

The day before, the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara in his written remarks was read by Didi Ramyadi during the Socialization of Regional Regulation Number 7/2023 concerning RTRW Kutai Kartanegara 2023-2042, in Tenggarong, saying that the Districts of Samboja and West Samboja are now in the IKN area.
