AMIN National Team Optimistic To Seize 50 Percent Of Women's Votes In The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - The Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) Winning National Team (Timnas) is optimistic that it will win 50 percent of women's votes through the '1 Mother, Selusin Suara' program to win presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 in the 2024 presidential election. The head of the AMIN National Team's Deputy for Family, Kurniasih, said that the idea of change empowering women, especially mothers, was an attraction to attract voters in the election. "God willing, AMIN is one of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates who later raised this issue. That these family issues must be a concern, because everything started with the family," said Kurniasih after gathering with the wife of the presidential candidate Anies Baswedan, Fery Farhati, in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, December 21. Kurniasih explained, from his team's calculations, as many as 50 percent of voters were women, most of whom were mothers. Therefore, through the program "1 Mother, Selusin Suara", she hopes that women can voice their rights, including those related to family issues or problems at home, so that the government can pay attention. Furthermore, Kurniasih explained that the program will empower volunteers from mothers to attract women in the village to be the driving force for vision and mission to change the candidate pair of AMIN. The program will be carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia starting Friday (22/12), with the initial agenda of praying for AMIN by women from every supporting party, organization, and sympathizers. Through this program, the community as well as supporters and sympathizers of AMIN were asked to pray that the 2024 presidential election would run smoothly and take place honestly and fairly. The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.

The campaign period has also been scheduled from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
