The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is looking for basic prices for raw materials related to the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). This information was examined by two witnesses, including the President Director of PT Dae Dong International, Jum Sook Kang. Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Jum Sook was questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 21. "The two witnesses were present and their knowledge was explored, among others, related to the amount of the basic price which became the raw material for the procurement of PPE at the Indonesian Ministry of Health," Ali said in a written statement, Thursday, December 21. Similar information was also investigated by the management of PT Permata Garment, Bambang Eka Hanjayanto. However, Ali did not specify the basic price. In this case, witness examination is still being carried out at this time. Among them are the Director of PT Ing Internasional, Aum Jung Hoo and a private company named Ebdung Tripriharto. Previously reported, the KPK named a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) for the period 2020-2022 or during the COVID-19 pandemic. The number is more than one person. However, regarding the identity and exact number of suspects in this case, Ali has not opened it. From the results of the temporary investigation, the value of state losses caused reached hundreds of billions of rupiah. The loss was from the project value of Rp3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages. In this case, five people have been prevented from leaving the country.

The anti-corruption commission did not specify them, but they are Budi Badminton as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah who is an ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB, Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private sector, and A. Isdar Yusuf as advocates.
