Sarma continued that the defendant Feliksia Sinaga, the defendant Intan Permatasari, the defendant Lisia Indriani, the defendant M Aldi and the defendant Fikih Abdul Khaiyr as online gambling marketing were sentenced to 3 years in prison for a fine of Rp. 50 million, subsidiary to 4 months in prison.
"All defendants were proven and guilty of violating Article 27 paragraph (2) of Law Number 11 of 2008 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (2) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and electronic transactions," said Sarma.
The aggravating thing is that the actions of all defendants do not support the government's program in eradicating gambling, both online and offline.
"The mitigating thing is that all defendants admit mistakes and are never punished," he said.
