JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) would become an oxygen-rich green city. People living there should be far from stroke or heart disease.
"If we look at the greenness here, the oxygen is a lot, the thought should be happy, the stroke is away, in my opinion (sick) the heart is also away," said Jokowi during the groundbreaking ceremony at the Central General Hospital (RSUP) at IKN, East Kalimantan, Antara, Wednesday, December 20.
RSUP in IKN, said Jokowi, will concentrate on services for patients with stroke and heart disease. The hospital is the fourth hospital in IKN whose construction has been inaugurated by President Jokowi.
From the start, Jokowi continued, the construction of IKN was designed as a green city with environmentally aligned buildings. The government will also reforestation at IKN.
In addition, the Government will make rules that only electric vehicles are allowed to operate on IKN.
"Once again, so that this area in the capital city of the archipelago becomes a very green area, which in any country is not found to be as green as the capital city of the archipelago," said President Jokowi.
