JAKARTA - Although there have been several residents who have started going home early using AKAP buses from Kampung Rambutan Terminal, there has not been a significant increase in the number of passengers.

Head of Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Yulza Ramadhoni predicts that the peak of AKAP Bus passengers on the homecoming flow for Christmas and New Year celebrations will begin on Saturday, December 23, next.

"For the peak of the 2023 Christmas flow, our prediction is on Saturday tomorrow, on December 23, 2023," said Yulza, Wednesday, December 20.

Yulza appealed to autobus (PO) companies to prepare their vehicles properly to avoid unwanted things.

"For vehicles that are not good, what is very fatal will certainly not be dispatched," he said.

In addition, a surge in passengers will occur for the AKAP bus on the Sumatra route ahead of Christmas.

"There will be an increase of around 30 percent, especially for passengers towards Sumatra," he said.

The inspection of road-worthy vehicles or clump checks for a number of AKAP Bus fleets at Kampung Rambutan Terminal will be carried out until Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
