TKN Follows Bawaslu Rules On Disbursement Of IDR 15 Billion Prabowo To MDS Cooperatives

JAKARTA - Head of the Prabowo National Campaign Team (TKN) Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Rosan Roeslani, emphasized that his party followed the rules of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) regarding the capital injection of Rp. 15 billion Prabowo Subianto for the Cooperative of Prosperous Digital Partners (MDS).

"Certainly Pak Prabowo, Mas Gibran, and all of us always follow the existing rules that have been set by Bawaslu," said Rosan at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 19.

According to him, Prabowo's administration of capital injections for MDS cooperatives is in line with the good intentions of advancing cooperatives which are believed to be able to act as a source of people's economic assistance in rural areas.

However, Rosan understands that this was appointed to attack the Prabowo-Gibran pair in the midst of an ongoing campaign.

"Look, yes, this is indeed if in any campaign period issues can be raised," said Rosan.

Until now, Bawaslu is still investigating the alleged violation of the campaign related to the giving of the money.

Prabowo gave a disbursement of Rp15 billion for the MDS Cooperative while attending the national gathering of the MDS Cooperative at PT Asri Pelangi Nusa, Purwakarta, West Java, Saturday, December 16 last week.

The presidential candidate number 2 stated that assistance was given to widen the MDS cooperative so that it could spread to all levels of society.
