SOLO - Surakarta City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) every day lowers hundreds of campaign props (APK) in prohibited locations.

Head of Surakarta City Satpol PP Arif Dharmawan said that in one day Satpol PP officers could reduce up to 200 APK.

The most derived APKs are from presidential and vice presidential candidates. However, he was reluctant to explain which pair's APK violated the most.

"Merata," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 19.

According to him, the most banned locations fitted by the APK are electric poles. Related to this, his party has often carried out socialization. However, similar violations continue to repeat itself.

"Even yesterday we got a call that someone installed it in the KPU warehouse, this is extraordinary. We immediately communicated and sent it down personally," he said.

He said the decline in the APK installed in prohibited locations this year was more than before the 2019 Presidential Election.

Although he is still socializing this matter, he said that if officers found that the APK installed in the prohibited place would be immediately lowered.

"There is no more communication, we immediately dispatched it," he said.

Related to this, his party appealed to political parties not to install APKs in places of worship, government offices, and in trees.
