Regarding The Bekasi Economy Is Difficult, PSI Denies Cak Imin: The UMK Is The Highest In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PSI DPP chairman Sigit Widodo denied the statement by vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar, Cak Imin's eyebrows about Bekasi's economy are difficult but the construction of a shopping center or mall is massive in the West Java (West Java) region.

Sigit revealed a number of data. One of them is related to the city and district minimum wages in Bekasi, which is the highest in Indonesia.

"I'm sorry Cak @cakimiNOW, but the UMK in Bekasi City and Regency is above IDR 5 million, including the highest in Indonesia," Sigit said in his X social media account, Tuesday, December 19.

Even Sigit said Bekasi could not be underestimated about the income of its workers. "And higher than the minimum wage in Malaysia," he added.

Therefore, Sigit said that it was inappropriate for Cak Imin to consider Bekasi as an area where the community had below average income.

"It seems that it doesn't fit to use Bekasi as an area with a wavy wallet," said Sigit.
