While Fishing, The Spokesperson For Cooperatives In East Lampung Was Shot Dead

A collector for a savings and loan cooperative in East Lampung Regency, Lampung was shot dead by an unknown person (OTK). The victim died with gunshot wounds to the head. The motive of the perpetrator shooting the victim is not yet known. Currently the police are still hunting for the perpetrator.

Residents of Margasari Village, Labuhan Maringai District, East Lampung Regency, were shocked by the shooting of a billing interpreter for a savings and loan cooperative.

The shooting incident of a collection officer named Feri Alamsyah by two OTKs occurred on Saturday morning WIB, at around 02.30 WIB. As a result of the shooting by the perpetrator who was riding the motorcycle, the 29-year-old man died with a gunshot wound to the head.

Based on the information gathered, the shooting incident occurred when the victim was sitting relaxed with four of his colleagues on the banks of the Kuala Penet river not far from the victim's house.

While the victim was sitting playing on his cellphone, a motorcyclist passed. Unexpectedly, the motorcyclist stopped and approached the victim and then fired a shot from his firearm at the victim.

Hearing the sound of gunfire, the victim's colleagues immediately rushed to save themselves. Meanwhile, the victim fell to the ground with blood pouring from the head. After shooting the victim, the perpetrator immediately fled and died at the scene of the incident (TKP).

Together with residents, the victim's colleagues then reported the shooting incident to the police. For investigation purposes, the Criminal Investigation Unit Inafis team (Sat Reskrim) immediately conducted a crime scene (TKP).

The victim's body was then evacuated to the Sukadana Regional General Hospital (RSUD), East Lampung for a post-mortem.

The motive of the perpetrator shot the victim is not yet known. However, prior to the shooting incident, the victim had told his family if someone threatened him.

Herlina (54 years old), the victim's aunt, said that prior to the shooting incident, the victim was in Karang Anyar Village (neighbor village). After receiving the victim's call, he returned home.

"After returning home, the incident occurred, the victim was fishing with his friends on the riverbank, his friends were fishing, he (the victim) called suddenly there was an incident, just shot it immediately. It happened around 02.30 a.m.," said Herlina.

Yusuf (23), a colleague of the victim who saw firsthand the incident of the victim's shooter, said that at the time of the incident, the victim was approached by an unknown man riding a motorcycle.

"The perpetrator stopped a few meters in front of the victim, then shot right next to the victim's forehead," said Yusup.

Yusup said that he saw the perpetrator shooting the victim, he and his colleagues were shocked and ran away from the location.

"I think the perpetrator who was riding the motorbike was a resident who was passing by who wanted to go home, didn't know he was shooting. Because of panic, we ran," said Yusup.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Labuhan Mariggai Police, Bripka Al Fajri, said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head that caused the victim to die.

"We have received a report from the victim's family, we are currently still conducting an investigation by pursuing the perpetrator," said Bripka Al Fajri at the Labuhan Maringai Police.

The shooting incident that killed the collector of the savings and loan cooperative is currently still under police investigation. Police are still examining a number of witnesses and are currently hunting for the perpetrator whose identity has been identified.
