Capture the viral video screen of alleged abuse of online taxi drivers

The Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department denied that its members were involved in an argument with online taxi drivers in the Tanah Abang Market area as viral on Instagram social media accounts.

"The person concerned is a member of the Dalops Division of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency (Jatibaru). (not a member of the Sub-Department) Yes," said Head of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Wildan Anwar when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, December 14.

However, Anwar said that he was not aware of the commotion. He was reluctant to explain because it was not his members who were involved in an argument with an online taxi driver in the Tanah Abang Market area.

"Ask the party," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a video recording showing a man driving a car suffered injuries to his face after being suspected of being involved in an argument with a Transportation Service (Dishub) officer in the Tanah Abang Market area, Central Jakarta, went viral on social media.

In the upload of the Instagram account @recordjakarta containing the caption "The sound is bleeding but the cause is not yet known. He admitted that he was a victim of abuse by members of the Transportation Agency. A number of Dishub members seemed to be trying to calm the online taxi driver who shouted," wrote the upload.

The incident was known to have occurred on Tuesday, December 12. The quarrel allegedly occurred due to illegal parking control activities. However, because he did not accept it, the man suspected of being an online taxi driver continued to curse and wanted to sue Dishub officers.
