Jokowi Buys Electric Cars For SMKN 1 Keedungwuni Pekalongan, Immediately Sent No Later Than Tomorrow Morning

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed his intention to provide assistance with electric cars to support student learning majoring in automotive at SMKN 1 Kedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java.

"For those who are majoring in automotive, I will buy an electric car. I will send it today or I will send the maximum tomorrow morning," said President Jokowi when visiting SMKN 1 Kedungwuni, as stated in a written statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 13.

During a dialogue with the students after the review, President Jokowi advised all students to study hard for a good future.

"Children learn everything, the active ones, so that the future of all children, the good future," said President Jokowi.

Arriving at SMKN 1 Kedungwuni at around 12.15 WIB, President Jokowi immediately entered a number of classes, including the engineering major class, light vehicle engineering, to Network Computer Engineering (TKJ).

President Jokowi then talked with a number of students who were practicing learning.

Muhammad Faid Hasan, a grade 12 student majoring in light vehicle engineering, said he did not expect that his school could be visited by President Jokowi.

Faid said that President Jokowi appreciated the learning supporting equipment owned by the school.

"(The response) is quite good, very good in fact, because schools have good tools," said Muhammad Faid.

Head of the Competency Department of Engineering at SMKN 1 Kedungwuni, Rino Sukarno, said that the Head of State also encouraged that school-owned equipment for learning activities could continue to be developed.
