He also said that in a security effort on Christmas and New Year's Day, security forces will establish Pam posts and service posts (posyans), as well as integrated posts.
"So in the 2023 Krakatau Candle Ops there will be 44 Pam and 21 Posyan posts, and 1 integrated post located at Bakauheni Port, South Lampung," he said.
Kombes Pol Umi said that the posts would be established at crowded points such as churches, tourist attractions, New Year's Eve turn objects, shopping centers and hotels.
"When welcoming Christmas and New Year, the Lampung Police will prepare service posts and security in the Lampung area which functions to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community," he said.
