Thousands Of Budget Management Applications Are Put To Sleep After Stranas PK Launches SIPD

JAKARTA - The National Corruption Prevention Strategic Team (Stranas PK) officially launched the Regional Government Information System (SIPD). Thousands of applications that were previously used to manage the current budget were put to sleep.

"SIPD will become a public application, there should be no more similar applications. By making SIPD a common application, 5,000 applications will automatically disappear. This is certainly more effective," said Pahala Nainggolan, Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK who is also the Acting Coordinator of Stranas PK at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, quoted Wednesday, December 13.

Pahala said this program was a major breakthrough carried out by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) since eight years ago. The reason is that so far there have been many misappropriation of money in undetected areas.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas as Coordinator of the Electronic-Based Government System Team (SPBE) said SIPD was present in the context of bureaucratic transformation.

"Referring to the president's instructions, it is hoped that the current bureaucratic transformation in Indonesia can create impact bureaucracy, bureaucracy that is not just a pile of paper, and bureaucracy that is agile with the support of digitalization," said Anas.

Not only that, the launch of the SIPD indicates the integration of systems between ministries and institutions both at the center, regions, to the village. This step is said to be in line with the Presidential Instruction on the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 concerning Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE) which was later strengthened by Presidential Regulation 132 of 2022 concerning SPBE Architecture.

As for this launch, Stranas PK also appreciated the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono for providing financial assistance of Rp. 30 billion and assistance for human resources to accelerate the development of SIPD.

A similar appreciation was also given to the Acting Governor of West Java as an initial institution that implemented SIPD. This is where the program is then implemented in general in ministries, institutions, and local governments.
