MUKOMUKO - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, raided a rented house suspected of being a place of covert prostitution.
Head of the Mukomuko District Satpol PP Office, Suryanto, said that in the operation to create conditions in the Mukomuko City District, officers secured four women.
"Officers arrested these four people after the Satpol PP smelled the alleged practice of prostitution in the rented house where the woman was in the residential area of the Lake Nibung tourist attraction, Banda Ratu Village, Mukomuko City District," he said in Mukomuko, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, December 12.
The four young women who were about 20 years old were taken to the Satpol PP Office along with three men who were suspected of being dating friends. These four women will be recorded and questioned regarding the essential activities in the rented house.
The prostitution report was received by Satpol PP from the local community. Many men often go in and out of the house where they live. With this information, his party went to the field to make sure.
"After we make sure the information is correct, the officers immediately take them to this official office," he said.
Furthermore, he said, they had to make a statement so as not to repeat their actions. Then they were also asked to return to their respective homes.
Regarding the operation to create this condition, it will continue to be carried out and the agency already has a number of location targets that are suspected of being a place of covert prostitution in this area.
"What is certain is that the location targeted for the operation is known. And in the near future we will come to that location," said Suryanto.
