Jurkamnas Ganjar-Mahfud: First Debate Is The Answer For Undecided Voters

JAKARTA - The National Campaign Officer (Jurkamnas) Ganjar-Mahfud, Aryo Seno Bagaskoro hopes that the inaugural debate can provide enlightenment to the community. Undecided voters or people who have not yet chosen are expected to make a decision immediately.

It is known, Litbang Kompas launched the results of its latest survey. It was stated that Prabowo-Gibran's electability was ranked first, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar on the second device and Ganjar-Mahfud was in a distended manner with the undecidend voters reaching 28.7 percent.

"Today, Kompas has emerged about the unfair voters who are still confused. So we think this debate is one of the answers, people will see," Aryo said in his statement quoted on Tuesday, December 12.

Aryo believes that there will be a surprise debate later considering that Ganjar-Mahfud has a track record in the legal world. So, the community must be waiting for their appearance.

"I think this debate is eagerly awaited by the wider community what the ideas and thoughts of each presidential candidate are," he said.

Likening a football match, Aryo believes Ganjar can score. In fact, he believes that in the future the electability of candidate pair number three can increase after the inaugural debate is held.

"There are still five seats and we believe that the opportunity to rebound for everyone, all of the candidates are still very open. The opportunity for Mas Ganjar-Mahfud to win even one round is still open and we are sure of that," said Seno.

As previously reported, the General Elections Commission (KPU) has announced a schedule for the 2024 presidential election. This activity will be held five times and will take place in Jakarta.

There are five themes that each debate takes place. In the inaugural debate on Tuesday, December 12, the theme will be related to law, human rights (HAM), government, eradication of corruption, and strengthening democracy.

The second debate will be held on December 22, 2023, with the theme defense, security, geopolitical, and international relations.

Next, the third debate will be held on January 7, 2024 with economic themes (congestion and digital), social welfare, investment, trade, taxes (digital), finance, and management of the state budget.

The fourth debate will be held on January 21, 2024, carrying the theme of energy, natural resources (SDA), SMN, carbon taxes, the environment and agrarianism, as well as indigenous peoples.

Finally, the debate was held on February 4, 2024 with the theme of information technology, improving public services, hoaxes, intolerance, education, health (post-COVID Society), and employment.
