The Debat Of The Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates Was Made Melingkar Like A Tribune At The Football Stadium

The General Election Commission (KPU) has prepared a presidential candidate (candidate) and vice presidential candidate (cawapres) debate with a circular design like a tribune at a football stadium.

KPU commissioner August Mellaz explained that the capacity of the debate venue built on the KPU page is a townhall model that can accommodate up to 800 people.

The debate stage looks circular, with the audience sitting higher like a tribune at a football stadium.

The purpose of the stage design is made like that so that every eye of the audience can easily see each presidential and vice presidential candidate who will argue.

Mellaz also ensured that the debate area would be soundproof so as not to interfere with the course of the presidential and vice presidential debate in the 2024 election.

"Later it will be made closed like a building to ensure that no incoming votes can interfere with the debate," said KPU Commissioner August Mellaz at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Saturday, December 9.

As previously reported, the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has increased the capacity of invitees for the success team (timses) of each candidate pair (paslon) who can attend the presidential and vice presidential candidates debate in the 2024 General Election.

Timses dari setiap paslon kini mendapatkan tiapan 75 kursi yang disediakan KPU dari sebelumnya 50 kursi.

"We finally calculated that each candidate can bring 75 people. All of the three candidate pairs means 225 people," said KPU Commissioner August Mellaz at the Indonesian KPU, Jakarta, Saturday, December 9.

Mellaz added that the remaining quotas will be used for invited guests from the KPU, namely, the TNI Commander, the National Police Chief, Bawaslu, and DKPP.

"The rest are invitations from the KPU for ministries and institutions for organizers, other invited guests such as ambassadors," he said.

Debat capres-cawapres akan berlangsung lima kali secara sekali pada 12 dan 22 Desember 2023, kemudian 7 dan 21 Januari 2024, serta 4 Februari 2024.

The following is the schedule and debate of presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2024 General Election:

The First Debate raised the theme of Law and Human Rights, Government, Eradication of Corruption, Strengthening Democracy, Improvement of Public Services, and Community Harmony.

The Second Debate is the Economy of People's Economy, Digital Economy, Finance, Investment, Taxes, Trade, Management of the APBN/APBD, Infrastructure, and urban areas.

The third debate raised the theme "Defense, Security, International Relations and Geopoliticals".

The Fourth Debate is Sustainable Development, Natural Resources (SDA), Environment, Energy, Food, Agrarian Indigenous Peoples and Villages.

The five theme debates raised are Social Welfare, Culture, Education, Information Technology, Health, Manpower, Human Resources, and Inclusion.
