JAKARTA - The children of the two presidential candidates, Alam Ganjar and Mutiara Baswedan, admitted that they did not rule out the possibility to enter politics following the track records of their respective parents.

Alam Ganjar, the son of presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo, said he still needed a lot of experience to be able to determine his future career.

"But in the end, it will never close the possibility," said Alam after attending a youth community event in Jakarta, Saturday (9/12/2023).

So far, he admits that he is not interested in doing practical politics. However, according to him, some of his daily activities often intersect with politicians.

"If it's political in general, interviewed (like this), it's already a political activity, so I can't immediately (refuse) from the start," he said, quoted by Antara.

Alam emphasized that he still wants to gain a lot of knowledge, regardless of whether his father will be elected or not as president in the 2024 presidential election. The 21-year-old also expressed his desire to continue his studies.

The same thing was conveyed by the daughter of presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan, Mutiara Baswedan, who admitted that she had little experience with politics. Moreover, he admitted that he had just graduated from the world of lectures.

"I need a lot of experience before I can determine my career," he said.

But at this time he admitted to being included in the research field of his father's campaign team. He admitted several times that he had prepared materials or materials for Anies Baswedan's political activities during this campaign stage.
