Meeting Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Mahfud MD Admits He Learned A Lot

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president (cawapres) number 3 Mahfud MD in conjunction with Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

After eating together, the two of them prayed Friday together at the Communion Area Mosque. After praying, Anwar again invited Mahfud to greet hundreds of worshipers who had lined up in line.

After Friday, Mahfud and Anwar, who were accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu), held a meeting at the Mosque office with Mahfud, and were accompanied by several religious leaders and directors managing the mosque.

Mahfud had time to talk intensely in a room at the Mosque. He admitted that his meeting with the Malaysian Prime Minister was to bring together friendship and friendly visits.

"Alhamdulillah, today I visited Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister, but a visit to brotherhood, friendship. Therefore, the event was eating together, praying together, receiving a banquet from religious leaders and takmir of the mosque together," said Mahfud.
