Judge Ridwan Masyur Wants To Restore The Constitutional Court's Marwah, The Decision Must Fulfill The Sense Of Community Justice

JAKARTA - Constitutional Court (MK) Judge Ridwan Mansyur is determined to restore the MK by maintaining institutional integrity in producing legal decisions that fulfill the community's sense of justice.

Ridwan said this was to respond to the decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) which removed Anwar Usman from the position of chairman of the Constitutional Court for violating the code of ethics.

"We jointly ensure that the Constitutional Court can return with a decision and what the Constitutional Court has produced in its decision," said Ridwan after being inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as a judge at the Constitutional Court at the State Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 8.

With 34 years of experience as a judge, Ridwan believes that he can be accepted by other constitutional judges in working to resolve various cases submitted to the Constitutional Court.

He also admitted that he was not afraid to face various job challenges in the Constitutional Court as long as he adhered to professional integrity as a judge and worked as well as possible.

"I think it just flows, because I am also 34 years as a judge with a variety of events. We accept it as part of human rights, meaning we just strengthen ourselves by working well," he explained.

Ridwan also conveyed a message from Constitutional Justice Suhartoyo to himself to jointly resolve cases that will emerge as well as possible to fulfill the community's sense of justice.

"He welcomes us because we already know when in the general court, coincidentally he is a force that I am a candidate for judge, then advised us to work together on the case that will emerge and decide that the case can fulfill the community's sense of justice as well as possible," said Ridwan Mansyur.
