Two Closest People Edhy Prabowo Admitted To Throwing Away Cellphones After Catch-Hand Operation

JAKARTA - Two witnesses to the trial, Dalendra Kardina, and Esti Marina admitted to throwing away their cellphones. They threw away their cellphones when the Edhy Prabowo case was handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

This was revealed when the Public Prosecutor (JPU) Siswandono read out the Examination report (BAP) of Dalendra who is the personal secretary (Sespri) of the Special Staff (Stafsus) Edhy Prabowo.

In the BAP, Dalendra admitted that he had lost the cellphone containing the questions of 10 companies applying for fry export.

"I read your BAP, 'As far as I remember Safri's direction to me, there were 10 companies that had postponed the export permits for cultivation, even though they were delayed, some were fast, some were old like PT DPP. The details were on my cellphone, but when OTT comes I deleted the data'. "Where did you disappear?", Prosecutor Siswandono asked to Dalendra during a trial at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 17.

"I don't remember sir", said Dalendra.

Then, the prosecutor turned to witness Esti Marina, who was also the secretary of staff, Edhy Prabowo. Esti also received a similar question.

"Esti, you threw away your cellphone too, right?", asked the prosecutor.

Esti confirmed it. He admitted to throwing away her cell phone because she felt pressured by the case.

But Esti denied throwing away the cellphone because she received orders from Andreau Misanta, who was her boss. Although the information about this question is recorded in the examination report.

"I was depressed sir, so I said so", said Esti.

Esti also said that she had to throw away the cellphone for fear of being exposed to his privacy. Because as far as she knows, when handling a case, the KPK will intercept all communications related to the case.

"I told the news that the KPK was tapped. I was afraid my cellphone was hijacked, I didn't want my privacy to be discovered, so I threw it away", she said.
