JAKARTA - The National Police held a cross-sectoral coordination meeting (Rakor) in the framework of Christmas 2023 Security and New Year 2024. The coordination meeting also discussed the mechanism for securing houses of worship, especially churches. It is known that all Christians will celebrate Christmas on December 25. Therefore, security must be maximized. So, all Christians can worship safely and comfortably. "Of course there will be Christmas celebration activities on December 25 which we must also secure and then later at the end of the year there will be community activities that will carry out year-end celebrations and it will all be a series of activities that we must secure, we must provide services," he said. "So that all community activities during Nataru activities can all run well," continued Sigit.

On the other hand, this Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting is also to equalize views on Christmas and New Year's security. This is because this security operation involves a large number of personnel, both the TNI-Polri and other agencies. "This operation is really able to provide the best service to the community in the stages of implementing existing activities because there are many other things that we must also secure," said Sigit.
