Praises Israel's Military, PM Netanyahu Claims To Kill Half Commander Of Hamas Battalion

JAKARTA - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the performance of Israel Defense Forces (IDF), saying they were on the right path to return the hostages and claimed to be capable of killing half of the Hamas battalion commanders.

Speaking at a news conference, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he sympathized with the intolerable suffering of those whose loved ones were still held hostage.

PM Netanyahu said there was a "very large intelligence plant" that works 24 hours a day to monitor any information, as part of an attempt "to safely repatriate all hostages."

"We are on the right track," said PM Netanyahu, quoted from The Times of Israel December 5.

"We managed to bring home 110 hostages thanks to the combined land operations and diplomatic efforts. That's the only way the hostages can go home," he said.

"Hamas wants to separate us, we cut it apart," he said.

On the occasion, PM Netanyahu highlighted the IDF's achievement in killing "about half the Hamas battalion commander."

The Palestinian militant group is known to have about 24 battalions fighting in Gaza.

"We are solving the problem with everyone who kidnapped, participated, killed, slaughtered, raped, and burned the daughters of our people. We will not forget and will not forgive," he explained.

Condolences for the death of the Israeli army and ensuring their sacrifice are not in vain, PM Netanyahu vowed "will no longer be a threat to Israel. There will be no power to support terror, educate terror, fund terror and terrorist families," he said.

"The only way for us to end the war, and end it quickly, is to use destructive force against Hamas," said PM Netanyahu.
