Denny Siregar Commenting On Aceh, The Poorest Province In Sumatra, Netizen: Tugu Monas From Aceh

JAKARTA - Social media activist, Denny Siregar, commented on the news about Aceh Province, which is called the poorest province in Sumatra according to data from the Aceh Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

Through his Twitter account, @ Dennysiregar7, Denny said, "Alhamdulillah ... Finally there are achievements," said Denny, quoted by VOI, Wednesday, February 17.

Denny's statement elicited comments from netizens. Some of them recall Aceh's contribution to Indonesia, one of which is about the gold of the Monas Monument which came from Aceh.

Seeing the many debates because of his chirping, Denny Siregar gave a new statement. He said that the poorest province is an achievement. Because, being a rich province is common, many have done it.

As an illustration, according to data provided by the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh Province, Ihsanurrijal, the poor population in Aceh increased to 19 thousand or 15.43 percent of people in September 2020. This in turn, made Aceh Province the poorest province in Sumatra.
