TANGERANG - A 14-year-old boy with the initials RS was found dead in a former sand dug Lake, Pangarengan Village, Rajeg, Tangerang Regency. Allegedly, the victim drowned while swimming in the dug hole.

The head of the Tangerang Regency BPBD, Ujar Sudrajat, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 5, at 11.00 WIB.

"It is true that the victim was found dead," said Ujat when confirmed, Tuesday, December 6.

Ujat explained that the incident began when the victim and 4 of her friends were swimming in the former sand dug Lake.

According to the witness, namely the victim's colleague, the hospital first plunged into the former excavation lake. However, after waiting, the hospital did not come to the surface.

"His friend panicked and immediately contacted the victim's parents. And immediately went to the search with the residents," he said.

After that, residents reported to the Tangerang Regency BPBD. Officers who arrived at the location immediately searched.

"At 11:30 a.m., the victim was found dead," he said.

Currently, the victim was immediately taken to the hospital. Then he was taken to the funeral home for burial.

"The victim was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance," he concluded.
