Second Day In NTT, Jokowi Checks Dam Construction And Rice Stock In Nagekeo

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) made a working visit to Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), including reviewing the progress of the construction of the Mbay Dam and checking the availability of rice at the Dunga Warehouse Complex. On the second day of a working visit in NTT, Tuesday, December 5, Jokowi left for Nagekeo Regency using the Super Puma TNI AU Helicopter from Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, at around 07.30 WITA, based on a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat quoted by ANTARA. At the airport, it appears that the Regent of West Manggarai Edistaus Endi released President Jokowi's departure to Nagekeo Regency. Arriving in Nagekeo Regency, President Jokowi will directly review the progress of the construction of the Mbay Dam. After that, the President will visit the market to check the price conditions of basic necessities and share a number of aids. Then, President Jokowi is scheduled to visit the Dunga Warehouse Complex. There, Jokowi will check the rice supply in Nagekeo Regency and hand over government rice reserve food assistance (CBP) to a number of beneficiary families (KPM).

On Tuesday afternoon, Jokowi is scheduled to return to West Manggarai Regency to visit Embung Anak Munting and plant trees together. In the afternoon, the Head of State will continue his series of working visits by leaving for Kupang City.Turut accompanied the President on a series of working visits on his second day in NTT, namely the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono.
