President Jokowi said the food aid had been distributed by the government since April 2023 and would continue to be distributed to beneficiary families until March 2024.
"So later in January, February, March (2024) it will be given again," said Jokowi, in a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 4.
In addition to food assistance, President Jokowi also said that other assistance from the government in the form of El Nino assistance would also be distributed to the public for the period November and December 2023.
"This will be transferred in November, December, IDR 400 thousand roughly this week or next week, which is not yet," he said.

Jokowi also appealed to people who have not been registered in the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) to be able to register with RT/RW or local kelurahan/villages in order to obtain related assistance from the government.
