Anies Promises In 100 Working Days If Elected By President: Lower Prices Of Basic Materials

Presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, expressed his promise in 100 working days as President of the Republic of Indonesia if he won the 2024 presidential election.

Anies revealed that he would form a special team tasked with maintaining food price stability when serving as President.

This was conveyed by Anies after a limited meeting with the people of North Sumatra on the sixth day of the 2024 presidential election campaign period.

"We plan that in the first 100 days there will be a special team whose job is to reduce the prices of basic necessities, so that the people will immediately feel the change," said Anies at GOR Pancing, Deli Serdang, Medan, Sunday, December 3.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period said that price affordability and stock of basic necessities were the main priority.

"We are no longer able to see the price of rice skyrocketing tremendously," said Anies.

In addition, Anies also plans to build transportation integration that is easily accessible specifically in Medan City.

in the future, Anies claims that Medan will have integrated public transportation such as in DKI Jakarta. According to Anies, this needs to be done because Medan is one of the big cities in Indonesia.

"Especially for the city of Medan, this city is built for public transportation, so that residents can go anywhere, from anywhere easily and at an affordable price," said Anies.

According to Anies, the ease of access to transportation for the community is important because it reduces daily expenses for mobility.

"Like in Jakarta. Where have you gone anywhere at a cost of only Rp. 10 thousand and that makes families feel extraordinary savings, for their expenses," he said.
