Palestinian Ambassador Says Indonesian Voice Is Needed For Peace In Gaza

Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia Zuhair Al-Shun and thousands of residents of Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan) held a peaceful demonstration to voice the independence of Gaza City, Palestine in order to be free from war atrocities. He expressed his concern, where the condition of Gaza City was destroyed. According to him, the voice of independence from Indonesia was urgently needed to restore the Palestinian condition as before. I must honestly express this heart content, I am touched to see this solidarity action today. This peaceful action is very meaningful for war victims in Palestine,'' said the Palestinian Ambassador. Children to the elderly are so enthusiastic about voicing the support for independence for Palestine. Peaceful action participants started the activity by carrying out the akbar parade, followed by national oration in Murjani Square, Banjarbaru City. On that occasion, the Palestinian Ambassador delivered a humanitarian oration. Humanitarian assistance worth hundreds of millions of rupiah was also received from donors in the city to be distributed to war-affected Gaza City residents.

The Palestinian Ambassador was present in South Kalimantan to participate in nine series of activities on Sunday (3/12), morning to evening in Banjarbaru City and Banjarmasin City. Banjarbaru Mayor Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin together with Banjarbaru DPRD Chairman Fadliansyah and a number of leaders of regional work units (SKPD) within the Banjarbaru City Government received Zuhair Al-Shun's presence at Syamsudin Noor International Airport Arrival Terminal, Banjarbaru City, Saturday (2/12).
