TPD Ganjar-Mahfud DKI Admits It Is Difficult To Raise Votes In South Jakarta-East Jakarta

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Regional Winning Team (TPD) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in DKI Jakarta, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi admitted that South Jakarta and East Jakarta are still difficult to win by their presidential and vice presidential pairs. This was revealed by Prasetyo based on the results of the election votes acquired by the president and regional heads promoted by PDIP. Prasetyo said that the candidate pairs did not get significant votes in the 2017 DKI Pilkada, the 2014 presidential election, and the 2019 presidential election. "We lost in South Jakarta and East Jakarta in 2012, 2014, and 2019," Prasetyo told reporters, quoted on Sunday, December 3. Therefore, one way to win the candidate pair by TPD Ganjar-Mahfud DKI Jakarta by building a winning house in an area that is still a challenge to reap votes. "Well, we are inland there, and why is the DKI winning team post in South Jakarta? I will minimize it so that there are not too many defeats by anyone there," said Prasetyo. Meanwhile, the chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD is optimistic that Ganjar and Mahfud pairs will win in three administrative cities/districts in Jakarta. The General Elections Commission (KPU) has set the election campaign period which will take place from November 28 to February 10, 2024, while the voting is scheduled to be held on February 14, 2024. In the 2024 presidential election, the Anies-muhaimin pair with serial number 1 is carried by the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Ummat Party.

The Prabowo-Gibran pair with serial number 2 was promoted by the Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), the Golkar Party (Golkar), the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora), the Indonesian Republican Guard Party (Garuda), and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), as well as the Prosperous People's Party (Prima) who did not qualify to participate in the 2024 General Election.
