Prabowo Appreciates Education Discipline In Islamic Boarding Schools

Presidential Candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto appreciates the discipline of education applied at Islamic boarding schools after visiting his inaugural campaign at the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java.

"Yes, extraordinary, we see how Pak Ustaz shoots, ustazah feels, is disciplined to train our young people well. We are grateful that there are kiai who always care about education," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 2.

Prabowo also had a chance to talk and give coins to one of the students. After that, Prabowoamen lunch with 7,000 students at the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School.

"I'll give this a memento, yes. Save it, yes. Later when you grow up, you'll be able to do it, yes, the defense minister has come here," Prabowo told one of the students.

Prabowo hopes that pesantren can become a quality center of religious education to form morals for the nation's children.

Previously, the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Campaign Team (TKD) of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, said that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka was committed to making all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia and its infrastructure included in the main program.

"Pak Prabowo is committed to all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, the pesantren law, support for infrastructure, assistance to the Masyayikh Assembly, the teacher assembly; it will be used as the main program," said Ridwan Kamil who accompanied Prabowo in the campaign at Tasikmalaya.
