TKN: Prabowo Promises To Solve Human Rights Cases Even If Not Included In Vision And Mission

"We will pay attention to efforts to resolve it," said Spokesperson for Human Rights and the Constitution of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Munafrizal Manan, in a discussion held by Amnesty International, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 2.

According to Manan, the candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran deliberately did not include points related to the settlement of human rights cases because they had the potential to become political commodities during the presidential election.

In addition, his party also does not want to promise something that cannot necessarily be resolved, because it will only make the parties who are victims of human rights violations disappointed.

"The victim is also still disappointed, so we don't want the victim, the resident, to be injured twice; injured with the incident and injured promised but not carried out," explained Manan.

However, he emphasized that Prabowo-Gibran would try to resolve cases of human rights violations by opening communication between parties involved, such as victims, witnesses, and perpetrators of violations.

The communication line must be opened so that the settlement of human rights cases in the past can be completed.

"One of the reasons for the 'congestion' is that this communication does not work, so it only builds walls that block the communication," said Manan.
