Scheduled, Prabowo-Gibran Campaign Team Starts Preparing Debate Topics

JAKARTA - The head of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Rosan Roeslani, admitted that he had prepared a strategy to deal with the presidential and vice-presidential candidates whose schedule had been set by the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU).

"Yes, the debate schedule has just come out, the first is December 12, yes, of course we always prepare for the topics," said Rosan in Kertanegara IV, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 29, evening.

Rosan admitted that he had accepted the topic which would later be discussed in the presidential and vice presidential candidates debate. He explained that he had discussed with his team internally about the Prabowo-Gibran pair's program and vision and mission vision and mission.

"The topics have been given. There are several topics, yes, we will prepare ourselves for the debate, of course, by discussing according to the program and vision and mission that has already been listed both and other programs," he explained.

Rosan said preparations for the debate would be carried out in conjunction with the campaign preparations that would be carried out by Prabowo-Gibran.

"So yes, while walking, because at the same time we also have to campaign, so this is what we will do while walking," concluded Rosan.

It is known that the General Elections Commission (KPU) has set five schedules for the implementation of the debate for vice presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) in the 2024 presidential election.

The schedule for the implementation of the debate began on December 12, then December 22, which was continued on January 7 and 14. Meanwhile, the last presidential and vice presidential candidates debate was on February 4, 2023.

"Yes, that's the date," said KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari when giving his statement, Wednesday, November 29 evening.

For a detailed place for the implementation of the debate, until now the KPU has not provided information regarding this matter.

The KPU only ensures that the five-time debate between the presidential and vice presidential candidates will take place in Jakarta.
