JAKARTA Oki's (44) face is quite battered. Bruises in several parts of the head because residents were beaten after being caught stealing a sheet on Jalan Raya Bunga Rampai, Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, November 28, afternoon.

It was later discovered that Oki acted as a motorcycle jockey when he committed theft with his friend. But unfortunately, when caught by the residents, it was Oki who was left by his friend.

Residents who were annoyed beat Oki with a number of items that could be achieved around the location. He was beaten by residents using plastic benches and other objects in the middle of Jalan Raya Bunga Rampai. Luckily, police officers managed to secure Oki from the street court action carried out by residents. He was secured at the Malacca Pospol.

Because Oki was a local resident at the crime scene, aka TKP, some residents recognized Oki.

And apparently, residents were not surprised to see Oki's behavior, who was involved in a slow theft. Because, according to his colleague at the crime scene, Oki was depressed or stressed because she had been left married to his girlfriend. Not only that, because Oki failed to marry, he also attempted suicide at his house several times. But failed.

"He was named Oki, he was stressed, depressed because he failed to get married. He also attempted suicide twice by hanging himself but was caught," said a man who was the perpetrator's relative to VOI at Pospol Malaka, Duren Sawit, Tuesday, November 28.

Before suffering from depression, he continued, the perpetrator named Oki had also worked as a security guard at an office in the Jakarta area.

"In the past he was a security guard, but there were problems and left for work. He was depressed because he failed to get married. Oki was also treated at the Klender Islamic Mental Hospital," he said.

Oki was arrested by residents after a chase was carried out on Jalan Raya Bunga Rampai, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Tuesday, November 28, afternoon. Oki's friend managed to escape.

Oki and his friends were eyeing a helmet belonging to a motorcyclist parked in a food stall. However, when stealing the helmet, the perpetrator's action was discovered by one of the traders and immediately shouted "thief".

The two perpetrators who used a black Genio motorbike had stepped on the gas. However, many residents who chased panicked the perpetrators. The driver and residents who chased the perpetrator then managed to drop the motorbike driven by the two perpetrators.

Oki fell down on the asphalt, while his colleague, another perpetrator, managed to escape the pursuit.
