DKI Bawaslu Comes Again GBK Collect Evidence Of APDESI Support To Gibran Rakabuming's Vice Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of DKI Jakarta Province has collected evidence of the All-Indonesian Village Government Association (APDESI) supporting one of the pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates. The Coordinator of the DKI Jakarta Province Bawaslu Violation Handling Division, Benny Sabdo, said that his party today returned to the GBK management to get documentation of the United Village activities which took place last Sunday, November 19. This activity was also attended by the candidate for vice president (cawapres) number two Gibran Rakabuming. "We ask for documentation, there must be CCTV and all kinds of things in that place. This is in order to explore or gather all relevant information and clues regarding this case," Benny said when met in Jakarta as reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 28. The DKI Bawaslu has been conducting searches since last Wednesday. His team has visited the GBK manager and found that Sunan Bukhari has applied for a permit as Deputy General Chair of APDESI. "According to information from the GBK management, this team is very fast (in applying for a permit). Then H-1 or Saturday (18/11) night, they did a 'technical meeting' guided by Mr. Sunan," said Benny. In addition, Benny said, there was a notification to the National Police Headquarters to get security for activities. Then on Thursday (23/11), his party visited the APDESI DPP office in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. However, based on information from the local RT and RW, the office was empty and there were no activities. "That's true the APDESI office, the DPP. But it's been empty for a long time, we didn't get any information," said Benny. Benny said that his party had not been able to directly summon the APDESI management because there had been no orders from the Indonesian Bawaslu. "Bawaslu asked us to trace it, meaning that we are actively visiting and so on. We are still tracing it by trying all existing contacts, if it is still a dead end, it is necessary to call, but we will consult (to the Indonesian Bawaslu)," he said. Benny said that his party had pocketed several documents such as a permit application letter using the arena at GBK, event arrangements, notification letters to the National Police Headquarters as well as videos of activities uploaded by DPR RI member Mardani Ali Sera on social media. In addition, he said, the Election Supervision Committee (Panwaslu) in charge of directly supervising the activity also found that the activity was attended by one of the village heads from South Tangerang Regency. Even so, Benny said, his party still could not draw conclusions. DKI Jakarta Bawaslu will continue to search and collect relevant clues.

"It's still ongoing. At least this week we will analyze all the clues and information we got, then we will report it to the Indonesian Bawaslu, so that the Indonesian Bawaslu will provide further directions," said Benny.
