Prabowo-Gibran Will Watch The U-17 World Cup Final In Surakarta

JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) stated that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2 will watch the U-17 World Cup final match at Manahan Stadium, Surakarta City, Central Java, Saturday (2/12).

"Weekendini akan ada final Piala Dunia U-17 di Solo.Insyaallah akan dihadiri Pak Prabowo dan Mas Gibran," kata Ketua TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan P. Roeslani, di Media Center TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Jakarta, Selasa, 28 November.

Rosan said the possibility of Prabowo-Gibran's presence at the event would be their joint appearance as presidential and vice presidential candidates during the 2024 presidential election campaign.

"Maybe it (the U-17 World Cup final match) will be a joint appearance (Prabowo-Gibran) as a presidential and vice presidential candidate pair," added Rosan.

He explained that his party wanted to bring the atmosphere of a campaign that was lively, positive, comfortable, and peaceful.

Meanwhile, the candidate pairs have not gone directly to the field on the inaugural day of the 2024 presidential election campaign, Tuesday, because Prabowo Subianto is still carrying out his duties as defense minister and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as mayor of Surakarta.

"Both of them will take a maximum leave twice a week to campaign," said Secretary of TKNPrabowo-Gibran, Nusron Wahid.

"He (Prabowo-Gibran) has decided to remain minister of defense and mayor (on the first day of the campaign) and only take maximum leave a week or two," said Nusron Wahid.

Nusron was quoted as saying by ANTARA that Prabowo-Gibrakan took more than two days off in a week if there was an urgent need, such as a summons from the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU), related to the 2024 presidential election.
