Step On The Gas Campaign Starting Tomorrow, Cak Imin Asks For 11 Days Leave

JAKARTA - Megaku vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) immediately applied for a work leave from the position of Deputy Speaker of the DPR to conduct a campaign starting Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

Cak Imin will be on leave for 11 working days in order to be able to go around inviting the public to elect him and presidential candidate Anies Baswedan as the number one candidate pair in the 2024 presidential election.

"I have started leave tomorrow morning until December 12 (December). The 13th is again," said Cak Imin after attending the 2024 Election Peace Campaign Declaration at the KPU office, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 27.

The inaugural campaign of the candidate pair promoted by the NasDem Party, PKB, and PKS was carried out in separate locations. Cak Imin started the campaign in Jombang, East Java. While Anies is in Jakarta.

"I will focus on the campaign starting tomorrow until the 12th. I will start visiting my mother in Jombang tomorrow, campaigning, saying goodbye, then continuing to various points in East Java," said Cak Imin.

Continuing Cak Imin's statement, Anies admitted that this was deliberately done to facilitate the reach of their campaign points during a campaign period of only 75 days.

"We have to reach more that we can reach. Later, from the days ahead, Cak Imin will reach many people, I will also reach the community. If everyone is together, later there will be a little affordable," explained Anies.

In their campaign, Anies said that he and Cak Imin would describe the vision and mission and government programs if they were elected president and vice president in 2024-2029, as well as their hopes during the election.

"All programs, but the most important thing is that at this time, there are very wide discussions about whether elections and presidential elections are run with full neutrality, whether elections and presidential elections can be free from intervention," said Anies.

"The question was not answered with the signature of the integrity pact, but was answered by proving what was signed at the integrity pact to be carried out in the field," Anies continued.
