BLITAR - Blitar City Police, East Java, named SH (31), the husband of Fitriani (21) whose body was found to be only a skeleton and cast in his room, Bacem Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, as the perpetrator of the murder.

Blitar Police Chief AKBP Danang Setiyo Pambudi Sukarno explained that his party had carried out intensive examinations of the findings of the case.

In addition, the police have also examined a number of witnesses and after obtaining evidence, identified the victim's husband as a suspect.

"For suspect SH, male, resident of Bacem Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. Evidence of earrings was found by the victim, red t-shirts, white t-shirts, wood, chunks of cast rock, blankets," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.

The case occurred in October 2021, starting with a family problem between the victim and the perpetrator. The husband and wife had a big fight and then the victim left the house.

One week later the victim returned home, so the couple checked again until SH finally hit the victim with wood until he was unconscious.

The perpetrator then took the victim to the room so that the children would not be caught. The perpetrator also waited for up to half an hour to confirm that the victim had died.

After that, the victim's clothes were removed and the perpetrator cleaned the attached blood. The victim was then wrapped in a blanket.

After that, the perpetrator dug a hole on the floor of the room 1.5 meters deep and then the victim was put in a sitting position.

Next, buried with the ground and one year later the suspect cast the floor.

The case came to light after the new owner of the house was about to renovate, Tuesday (21/11). He bought the house from SH two months ago. The owner of the new house who is also still a relative then became suspicious of the new cor in the room.

After being dismantled, it turned out that it contained a human skeleton with long black hair. These characteristics are similar to Fitriani. The findings were also immediately reported by the police.

In addition to conducting examinations by involving a medical team from the Bhayangkara Kediri Hospital and the East Java Police Labfor team, the police are also collaborating with the South Konawe Police, Southeast Sulawesi, to look for victims' families.

To the officers, the family has also confirmed that the victim is indeed his family, Fitriani.

Currently, the perpetrator is still being held. The perpetrator is also known to have carried out the single action. He is threatened with being charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

The police also expressed their condolences for the death of the victim. In addition, the police also plan to carry out reconstruction to clarify the incident.

"The perpetrator is temporarily alone. Later, reconstruction will be carried out while waiting for the examination to clarify the incident," said the Police Chief.
