Ganjar Gives Red Value To Law Enforcement In The Jokowi Era, Puan: PDIP Is Always Otocratic

JAKARTA - The chairman of the DPR and the chairman of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani, was reluctant to comment on the red value of law enforcement during the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration which was conveyed by Ganjar Pranowo.

"This is what Mr. Ganjar said. So he asked Mr. Ganjar. How come he kept asking me," said Puan, Monday, November 20.

However, Puan ensured that her party would always evaluate the government's performance, especially regarding law enforcement. According to her, the law must be enforced fairly and honestly.

"What is certain is that we will evaluate if then it is true or not true. But related to the issue of law enforcement, it will become a concept for PDIP, yes, law enforcement must be done properly, well, honestly, fairly, fairly and of course not selective," he added.

Despite being a political party supporting Jokowi, Puan emphasized that from the start even before the 2024 election stage began, PDIP was always self-criticizing the government's performance.

"From the beginning of the PDIP position until now, even before the election period we were always autocritical or we conveyed that even though the criticism was delivered directly or indirectly to the government, with the aim of how the government in carrying out its performance could improve itself, evaluate its programs, so that as much as possible, as much as possible is for the benefit of the people," said Puan.
