SOLO - The founder of the Al Mukmin Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) Ngruki, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir visited the office of Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka and left a letter to presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.
During his visit to Surakarta City Hall, Ba'asyir was unable to meet Gibran directly because of the busy schedule of President Joko Widodo's eldest son as Prabowo's vice presidential assistant.
"I want to meet (directly), but it's difficult," said Ba'asyir as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.
