MAKASSAR - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of South Sulawesi (Pemprov) said that the salaries of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) within the South Sulawesi Provincial Government are temporarily in the disbursement process and will be paid soon. The head of the South Sulawesi BKAD, Salehuddin, said that the delay in paying this salary was due to waiting for the determination of the Revised Regional Budget for the 2023 Fiscal Year. "For salaries in August, September, October, and November 2023, while in the process, it will be paid off as soon as possible," said Salehuddin in Makassar, Antara, Friday, November 17. "We apologize for the late payment, because the overall PPPK budget can only be accommodated in the 2023 APBD Amendment," he added. As for salaries that have not been distributed, he said, in August and September for Phase III PPPK, November salaries for Phases I, II, and III PPPK. As for the salaries in October, all PPPK Phases I, II, and III have been paid. Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sulawesi Education Office, Iqbal Najamuddin, said that for Phase III PPPK, salary delays in August and September were still in the process of managing files for those concerned.

"So that the follow-up salaries in August and September, including the November salary, will be paid this month. Meanwhile, the process will be paid as soon as possible," he said. "Including PPPK stages I and II for November salaries, we will pay the payment of PPPK salaries in November. Because we follow the Revised APBD 2023 scheme, where we can carry out the process of the Revised APBD in November," he explained.
