Carissa Perusset Dances for "Sofia" Film

JAKARTA - Actress Carissa Perusset plays the role of a child's maid in the latest psychological horror film, Sofia. In this film, she will play a role with Anantya Kirana and Wulan Guritno in the direction of director Adis Kayl.

Not just an assistant, Carissa said there was a character transition that he experienced and influenced the story. In addition, he also revealed that there were several workshops for the role of Dahlia.

"This Dahlia character experiences some things that are really disgusting and scary, and beyond reason. Yes, her brain and her sanity (mental health) have been... yes, it destroys her sanity," said Carissa Perusset in the character announcement in Central Jakarta on Monday, July 13.

In addition to preparing for the dance scene, Carissa was also assisted by an intimacy coordinator to carry out the needed scenes.

"If it (dance workshop) is actually not a dance that is really how-how. So yes, there is a dance workshop, but my body is really stiff, I can't dance at all," he explained.

"But besides that, Dahlia's character is really 'hit' mentally. I even asked, 'Is there a psychologist or therapist?' because after filming it felt... because the character that this character experiences is quite heavy, not only physically but mentally. But fortunately, all the actors are comfortable with everything, and we also have an intimacy coach here, and it really helps," said Carissa Perusset.

Besides Carissa, actor Nugie also revealed "Honestly, the most healing. I have to get inspiration outside the story. This film has challenges that make us focus on the character with a bicycle."

The film "Sofia" tells the story of a girl named Sofia (Anantya Kirana) who has a social condition and has an impact on her life and the environment in her home. In addition to Anantya Kirana, the Sofia film is also played by Wulan Guritno, Carissa Perusset, Nugie, Kiki Narendra and others.
