Search For Drowning Boy In Cisoka Sand Galian Involves DKI Jakarta Basarnas

TANGERANG - The DKI Jakarta Basarnas team was deployed to look for an 11-year-old boy who drowned in the sand excavation of Manggu Village, Cisoka, Tangerang Regency.

"The Jakarta SAR Office rescue personnel together with joint SAR elements were deployed and until tonight a search is still being carried out," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli in his statement, Thursday, November 16.

Fazzli said that in the search effort tonight, it was carried out by dividing the search area into 3.

He said that the first team conducted a sweep using a rubber boat on the surface of the water around the scene.

Meanwhile, the second team made efforts to dive to search under the surface of the water up to a radius of 3 meters from the scene.

"The third team conducted a sweep through observations of land routes around the scene," he said

A boy with the initials R (11) drowned in the Sand Galian Kampung Manggu, Cisoka, Tangerang Regency. Currently, the rescue team is still searching for victims.

Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Banten Ujat Sudrajat said his party received a report on Thursday, November 16, at 14:42 WIB.

"It's true that a child drowned in a sand dug in a depth of 35 meters," Ujat said when confirmed, Thursday, November 16.
