Unidentified Woman's Body Found Covered With Banana Leaves In The Middle Of The Train Track

JAKARTA - An unidentified female corpse covered in banana leaves was found in the middle of a railroad line, near a bridge crossing, Cakung, East Jakarta. According to residents, the woman's body was a victim of a train accident while crossing the railroad tracks.

The victim suffered serious injuries to the head and body after being hit by a train from Bekasi to Jatinegara. Meanwhile, the identification team that came to the scene did not find the victim's identity card.

Officers only found some money from the victim's pocket. The victim's body became a spectacle of residents who were curious about the victim's face. However, of the many residents who saw it, none of the residents recognized the victim.

Based on Virlie's statement, one of the local residents, the victim allegedly wanted to cross the railroad tracks through the loopholes of the crossing barrier wall.

"I think he wants to cross from the gap in the barrier wall. Earlier, the one who was hit by a girl, but when he checked his identity, he didn't exist," Virlie told reporters, Thursday, November 16.

Furthermore, the victim's body was evacuated by officers to the RSCM for further processing. The victim was taken by ambulance.
