Ojol Driver In Tangerang Beaten By Youth Group From Kupang At Tanah Tinggi Market

TANGERANG - An online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) became a victim of abuse by an unknown person (OTK) in the Tanah Tinggi Market area, Tangerang District, Tangerang City. The victim suffered injuries to his face because he was hit repeatedly.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police, Kompol Mikael Rio Tobing, said the incident took place on Sunday evening, November 12. Rio also explained that his party was conducting an investigation into the case.

"That's right. The report has been received and is still being investigated," Rio said in a short message, Tuesday, November 14.

Sementara itu, Kanit Reskrim Polsek Tangerang AKP Imron Masadi mengungkapkan, berdasarkan informasi awal kejadian itu diduga karena kencangan motor antara korban dengan para pelaku.

"It was handled by the Resmob Polres. The city only helped investigate, the Resmob Polres happened on Sunday. The information started from a bump like that on the road. Then the victim was beaten," he said.

"The kupang person was hit by a bump when he was hit by the info I got," he continued.

He also explained that at the time of the incident there were no residents who helped because of fear. So that the victims were battered and helpless by the perpetrators.

"There is no (assistance). People are afraid and don't want this," he said

The case is handled by the Tangerang City Police Resmob.
