Chinese Tourists Who Work As Tourism Agents In Bali Deported

BADUNG - The Class I Immigration Office, Special for TPI Ngurah Rai, Bali, deported a foreign citizen (WNA) from China with the initials YZ (30). This tourist was deported for being a tourist agent while on the Island of the Gods.

"Deportation of YZ was carried out due to misuse of residence permit for visits to work," said Suhendra as Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Monday, November 13.

YZ was secured by the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteljakim) Ngurah Rai Immigration in an immigration patrol which is a follow-up to public information.

Based on the examination carried out by officers and the available evidence, this foreigner was proven to have abused a residence permit in the form of working for a company in Bali. Even though these foreigners are holders of residence permits for visits.

During the examination, this Chinese citizen is known to have visited Indonesia twice, namely 2018 and on August 23, 2023 through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport using a visit visa for the B211 index.

"YZ works looking for tourists in China then while in Indonesia YZ prepares a vehicle by renting a vehicle at one of the transportation companies," he added.

Based on the results of the examination, this foreigner should be suspected of having activities that are not in accordance with the residence permit he has with work. Meanwhile YZ is the holder of the residence permit for the visit.

"Regarding the violations committed by YZ, we apply Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 6, Year 2011, concerning immigration. On that basis, we subject to immigration administrative measures, in the form of deportation and name we propose to be included in the banal list," paparnay.

YZ was deported through I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport using Xiamen Air on the Denpasar-Xiamen route which was then followed by the Chinese airline Express Airlines on the Xiamen-Wuhu route.

"YZ has been deported by Immigration Ngurah Rai through I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on November 10, 2023 night," he said.
