Kejari Investigate BLUD Budget Deviations Sumbawa Hospital Rp1.5 Billion In 2012

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the alleged budget irregularities of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) at the Sumbawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Sumbawa Attorney General's Office, Zanuar Ikhram, said that the alleged budget irregularities took place in the management of the Sumbawa Hospital BLUD in 2022.

"This is a case investigation in accordance with what we have seen from the findings of the BPK (Financial Audit Agency)," he said by telephone, Friday, November 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

Zanuar explained that this case was different from the alleged gratification of the former Director of the Sumbawa Hospital, Dede Hasan Basri, whose case was already underway in court.

"So, it is different from the bribery and gratification cases that are currently underway in court. This is in accordance with BPK's findings which found that there was an alleged BLUD budget deviation of Rp. 1.5 billion," he said.

For the direction of investigation, he said, related to allegations of corruption in abuse of authority, one of which arose in the procurement of food and office stationery (ATK).

"In the BPK's LHP (report of examination results) it is clear that there is an overpayment, including that it is misused personally and it is the responsibility of the PPK in 2022," he said.

The issue arose in the facts of the trial of the alleged gratification case at the management of the BLUD funds at the Sumbawa Hospital with the defendant Dede Hasan Basri.

"What was revealed at the trial, we will definitely explore further," he said.
